Being a muggle in busy London and finding Sherlock

What an exciting day! Finally going into London. Oh dear it was so crowded because of the bicycle race that was going on all the weekend. Anyway. I booked a Harry Potter muggle tour with another German aupair. And oh dear it was incredible. We saw Borough market the London Eye, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Millennium Bridge and other places where they filmed Harry Potter or J. K. Rowling got inspired.  So I saw Knockturn alley and Diagon Alley, and one place the filmed the Part of Harry Potter where they have to kidnap people to get into the ministry of magic and this is also the place where part of Sherlock has been filmed. So double plus for me because both are my favourite movies/ tv shows to watch. Also interesting thing is that they shout the whole Westminster tube station down for a day, just to film a scene of Harry Potter with “daylight”. That must have been an disaster. But let’s stop here before my post gets to focused on Harry Potter.  I really enjoyed it as you can tell. After that I’ve went to five guys for a burger. I had those in America and I really really love them. So I just had to get one. I got a little bit lost but eventually found my way back to Waterloo station. When I got home my hostfamily had their friends coming over and we enjoyed pulled pork, some Prosecco and a bonfire (as always haha) A lovely day in general as you can see.

That’s it for today.

Enjoy the sun !
